Making Memories, Starting New Dreams

One of the great things about working for Mercedes Homes is the people that walk in the office each day. They are dreaming of a new home and a new beginning. Each time I write a contract I meet someone that is looking to start a new chapter in their lives.

It was a beautiful day in November when they walked in my door and fell in love with Mercedes Homes and the Garlic Creek community. Susan and John were looking once again for their dream home, looking for the home that they could commit to together which would enable them to commit to each other. You see Susan and John have been dating for a year and a half long distance. Susan lives in Plugerville while John lives in southwest San Antonio (about 90 minute commute). As their relationship grew they realized that they would need to compromise on their living locale but they would not compromise on what they were looking for in the way of their new home. For John there was no compromise when it came to quality and design, energy efficiency and price.

Before leaving the office that day I made a follow up appointment for the upcoming weekend to sit down again and look at which floor plan would be right for them. You see John was not an easy man to pin down as Susan well knew. So making an appointment was essential. The meeting was set for 1pm the following weekend. Sunday afternoon rolls around and I never thought they would be the type to stand me up but in they walked around 4pm, large smiles on their faces with Susan’s left hand extended newly bedazzled with her engagement ring on her ring finger. “You see,” John told me “I have been looking for a home that is the RIGHT size, in the RIGHT place, for the RIGHT price, and built by the RIGHT builder and that made it the RIGHT time to ask Susan to be my wife.” I thought how strange it was that Mercedes Homes “Right for your life,” should be the new slogan at this right time for Susan and John. Each one of our Mercedes Homes buyers has a story like this. They are all different because they all have a different dream.
