Property Rental Scam alert from NAR

The NAR – aka the National Association of Realtors – has recently put out a bulletin warning that people are using its name as part of an elaborate property scam. The scam speaks specifically of property rentals. Consumers are led to believe that the NAR is acting as agents to gather rental money deposits from future tenants. The scam makes the appearance that the NAR will deliver the keys to the tenant upon payment on a particular property they wish to rent. Unfortunately, the keys will never arrive.
